About

29 years of reading the room.

The DJ your guests remember isn’t the one with the biggest light rig — it’s the one who made the night feel effortless.

I didn’t start with weddings. I started back in 1997, DJing parties and nightclubs — rooms where nobody dances because the schedule says so. You earn the floor track by track, or you watch it empty out. That’s where I learned to read a crowd for real.

The wedding craft came later, in my early twenties, working under a premier wedding entertainment company — the kind of apprenticeship where you learn that a reception is a live production, not a playlist. Timelines, announcements, reading a room mid-song, recovering gracefully when the schedule slips: that discipline sits on top of the club instincts, not instead of them.

Since then I’ve DJed hundreds of weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and nightlife sets across Los Angeles and Orange County. Ranch weddings in Camarillo, ballrooms in Huntington Beach, country clubs, backyards, company holiday parties — every room is different, and that’s the point.

My approach hasn’t changed: no pre-made playlists. I watch the floor — the age ranges, the cultures, the energy — and build the music in real time. When it’s time to push, I push. When the room needs to breathe, I pull back. That instinct doesn’t come from software; it comes from 29 years of watching what actually makes people dance — in clubs, at weddings, everywhere in between.

Off the decks, I run my events like a business partner: timeline coordination with your planner, state-of-the-art equipment tested before every event, full liability insurance, and a personal reply — from me, not an assistant — within a few hours of your inquiry.

If that sounds like the kind of DJ you want in the room for your event, check your date or call/text me directly at (626) 202-8855.

Our group of family and friends love to dance, and did so throughout the entirety of the night thanks to Henry’s ability to keep the party going with seamless transitions spanning multiple genres and cultures. Our wedding was one of the best people had been to.

DJ Henry is the utmost professional. He made sure we stayed on schedule through our grand entrance, first dances, speeches, and buffet release — the entire reception flowed effortlessly and without flaws. Even our elderly guests were on the dance floor all night.

Henry listened to every detail — he even monogrammed our names on the wall and made my dream of dancing on the clouds for our first dance come out perfectly. My sister loved him so much she booked him for her own wedding the next year.
